“Yeah.” She pushed his hands off of her.

“I can’t touch you?”

“Not when you was just laid up with another bitch.”

He smiled. “I wasn’t laid up. I was out kicking it.”

“Whatever Rah.”

He pulled her back in his arms and kissed her neck. “Do you love me Asha?”

“Of course. You’re my first love, my kid’s father and my husband. Even if we aren’t together, I’ll always love you Rah.”

“I love you too ma.” He held her as they watched TV. A good hour went by when his phone rang.

“Hello?”

It was India and she was mad because he told her he’d come see her after he saw about his daughter but he never went nor did he call her.

“Man chill out with that yelling shit, ” Rah barked back.

Asha sat up and took the phone from him and he let her.

“Look, India he will catch you later. It’s family time right now.” She hung up and turned his phone off.

Rah smiled because slowly his wife was returning. They cuddled and watched TV until they fell asleep.
